  • Do skin treatments hurt?
      • There is minimal discomfort involved with the services offered. Your privacy, safety and comfort are of primary importance. Please call with any additional questions or concerns you might have.

  • What are the accepted forms of payment?
      • We currently accept MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Visa credit cards. Checks, cash, and money orders are also accepted. Financing is also available through Care Credit. Applications can be completed and processed immediately while you are in the office. Payment is expected upon completion of services.
  • How does Intense Pulse Light (IPL) work?
      • Eliminate undersired hair from all parts of the body with FDA approved Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatment for permanent hair removal. IPL is quite different from a laser. An intense pulse light is a computer generated system which emits a broad spectrum of light wavelengths, customized to each individual’s needs, for photo rejuvenation and laser hair removal.
  • How does Intense Pulse Light differ from Laser Hair Removal?
      • An Intense Pulse Light (IPL) is a computer generated system that emits a broad spectrum of light. These wavelengths of light, which are photons from 500nm to 1300nm, have special cutoff filters that cut off light at the number and below. A laser does not have this kind of versatility as it represents a fixed wavelength. As you know, we come in all skin types and issues that require versatility and the ability to customize the settings, which a laser cannot offer.
  • Who performs the services?
      • All services are performed by a Registered Nurse, certified in all procedures, under the direction of Gregory Smith, MD.
